Trijicon Warranty

Trijicon offers Limited Lifetime Warranty to customers on different products on optics and body material. Limited period warranties are also available on specific components of Trijicon products. Details of registration and warranty claiming process is written below –

Trijicon Limited Lifetime Warranty

Trijicon warrants its products to be free from any kind of defect (workmanship and material wise) for the lifetime of the original owner. The registered Trijicon product will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. However, Limited Lifetime Warranty is not valid for product defects that are caused due to improper, abusive, or abnormal use. Defects caused by improper service or accident also makes the product invalid for Trijicon’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty is applicable for optical systems as well as metal structure of the product body. Limited Lifetime Warranty is not applicable for illumination system.

Step 5 – There is no fixed turnaround time for replacement or repairing. However, they generally try to return the product at the earliest.

Step 6 – If the product damage or repair is not covered under warranty, Vortex Optics will contact the concerned customer before any repair is done.

  • For Canada Customers

If you stay in Canada, to return the product for availing warranty, you’ve to follow this procedure –

Step 1 – Download this Warranty Repair Form, print it, and fill it out.

Step 2 – Pack the defective or damaged product in a cardboard shipping carton.

Step 4 – Once the package reaches Vortex Optics facility, the product will be evaluated by the technicians, and will decide whether the damaged or defective product will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

In case of some products, for repair they are required to be shipped to Vortex USA. In such cases, all the shipping and brokerage costs associated with shipping the product to the USA will be covered by Vortex Canada. If your product is non-repairable, a replacement will be sent to you.

Step 5 – Once the repair is done, the repaired item will be promptly shipped back to you without any charges.

VIP Warranty Exclusions

  • VIP Warranty is not valid for any Vortex products that are lost, stolen, damage done deliberately, or cosmetic damage that don’t hinder product performance.
  • In case of Military and Federal Contracts, the specific warranty policies mentioned will not hold good and will in fact supersede them. Vortex Optics Military and Federal (non-consumer) contracts come with Military & Federal Warranty Policy, which is different from warranty policies.

Swarovski Optik Warranty

Swarovski Optik provides its customers with an extensive warranty, thanks to the unmatched product quality, innovative technology, and ergonomic design. Warranty for All Other Parts and Electronics of Optical Products

  • Warranty Duration for All Other Parts of Optical Products Besides Optics

Warranty duration for all other parts besides optics is 10 years (from the purchase date) in case of workmanship or material related defects, provided the product was subjected to normal use.

  • Warranty Duration for Electronic Components of Optical Products

Warranty duration for all electronic components is 2 years (from the purchase date) in case of workmanship or material related defects, provided the product was subjected to normal use.

Warranty for All Non-Optical Products

Warranty duration for all non-optical products (including accessories, tripods, and more) is 2 years (from the purchase date) if the product was subjected to normal use. This warranty will not be applicable on non-optical products if they are subjected to accidents, abude, misuse, unauthorized repairs, alteration, flood, fire, or other acts of God.

Warranty Process

Step 1 – If you find any defect in the product or any part within the warranty period, you can call Swarovski Optik’s customer service number – (800) 426-3089 to get the Service Order (SO) Number. The SO Number is important for identification of your specific warranty request. Please remember the number as it’ll act as the warranty request till its completion.

Step 2 – When you call (800) 426-3089, the customer service representative of Swarovski Optik will give specific instructions regarding where to take or send the defective product for service.

Step 3 – At the time of taking or sending the defective product (for warranty service), please enclose the following items with the package –

  • Customer Name
  • Shipping Address
  • Phone Number (Daytime)
  • Brief Description of the Product Defect or Problem

Leupold Electronics Limited Two-Year Warranty

Leupold Military and Tactical Products

If you’re going for a customer contract with Military and Law Enforcement entities, the general customer warranty (mentioned above) will be superseded and new one will be applicable. If an optic is bought by an international customer and then comes across a defect, the first step he/she has to do is contact Leupold Customer Service, followed by sending the scope to Leupold repair service.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Sig Sauer Electro-Optic Infinite Guarantee

Sig Sauer pledges to provide infinite, unlimited, and lifetime warranty to all its electro-optics. If the optical device is defective or even damaged, Sig Sauer will repair or even replace the product without charging anything from you. In case, Sig Sauer is unable to repair the product, they will replace the same with another Sig Sauer electro-optic, which is in perfect working condition (having physical condition equal to or in better physical condition). Best aspect of this guarantee is that Sig Sauer will not ask a single question about how the damage was caused, whose fault it was, or from where the customer purchased it.

Sig Sauer Infinite Guarantee on electro-optic products are unlimited lifetime guarantee, and are fully transferable. Also, there are no limit applicable on the warranty. No warranty card or receipt are required to claim the Sig Sauer Electro-Optic Infinite Guarantee.

  • Sig Sauer Warranty on Suppressors

In case, there are any material, workmanship or mechanical function related defects in the Sig Sauer Suppressor, Sig Sauer pledges to correct the defect for the original purchaser for the lifetime. Correction of the defect here means repairing, adjusting, or replacing the same by using the components that are of the same or comparable quality. In case, the defects can’t be repaired or adjusted, the entire suppressor will be replaced by Sig Sauer.

  • Sig Sauer Warranty on Airguns

Sig Sauer provides two warranties to its airguns. While one is provided on Sig Sauer CO2 Airguns, the other on Sig Sauer ASP20 Break Barrel Air Rifle. Let’s check the warranties in details –

  • CO2 Airguns One (1) Year Limited Warranty

Per the 1-Year Limited Warranty, Sig Sauer pledges to correct any Airgun Rifle defect (material, workmanship and mechanical function) for the original purchaser. The original purchaser’s request of correcting the airgun rifle will be done by the manufacturer within one year from the purchase date. Correction of the defect here means repairing, adjusting, or replacing the same by using the components that are of the same or comparable quality. In case, the defects can’t be repaired or adjusted, the entire airgun rifle will be replaced by Sig Sauer, provide the following conditions are fulfilled by the original purchaser –

  • While requesting warranty repair, proof of purchase will be needed
  • The air gun rifle should be returned to Sig Sauer after unloading it
  • Freight for airgun rifle must be prepaid to SIG SAUER at 18 Industrial Drive, Exeter NH 03833

In case, the Sig Sauer Airgun Rifle is accidentally or otherwise damaged, misused, poorly maintained, fired while the barrel is obstructed, repaired or altered (even of cosmetic nature) from unauthorized technician, or fired with improper/reloaded/handloaded ammunition, the CO2 Airguns One (1) Year Limited Warranty will become null and void. Please consider the fact that this one year warranty warranty is not applicable for normal wear and tear of any part(s) of the air gun.

This warranty is also non-transferable in nature. Any other person owning the airgun besides the original purchaser is not entitled to receive the 1-year warranty. In fact, the warranty is also not applicable on accessories. Most importantly, you can claim the CO2 Airguns One (1) Year Limited Warranty only if you’ve purchase the airgun in the USA.

In case, the state you reside doesn’t allow limitation on the longevity of the implied warranty, the limited warranty mentioned above will not be applicable to you.

  • ASP20 (5) Year Limited Warranty

Per the 5-Year Limited Warranty, Sig Sauer pledges to correct the defect (material, workmanship and mechanical function) of ASP20 Break Barrel Air Rifle for the original purchaser. The original purchaser’s request of correcting the air rifle will be done by the manufacturer within 5 years from the purchase date. Correction of the defect here means repairing, adjusting, or replacing the same by using the components that are of same or comparable quality. In case, the defects can’t be repaired or adjusted, the entire air rifle will be replaced by Sig Sauer –

Zeiss Sports Optics Warranty

Zeiss Sports Optics provides two types of warranties on its products –

  • US and Canada Limited Lifetime Warranty
  • ZEISS Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty

Let’s take a closer look at both the Zeiss Warranties –

  • US and Canada Limited Lifetime Warranty

The Carl Zeiss Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty (“Limited Warranty”) is available on Zeiss Sports Optics products if limitations are found in electronic components, camera electronics and accessories. Any workmanship or materials related issues on the said components are warranted by Carl Zeiss Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty, available in both the United States and Canada. Once a customer claims such warranty, Carl Zeiss will either repair or replace the product with another Zeiss product that is comparable in terms of specifications and value without any charge. This warranty is not limited to the original owner of the product but is essentially transferable.

Note – Limited lifetime warranty is not available on Victory PRF Products. Any workmanship or material related limitations are addressed by the 2-year warranty from the purchase date.

Limited Warranty Conditions for Electronic Components, Camera Electronics and Accessories

  • Workmanship or material related defects of Carl Zeiss sports optics’ electronic components are warranted by 5-year warranty from original purchase date.
  • Workmanship or material related defects of Carl Zeiss sports optics’ camera electronics are warranted by 2-year warranty from original purchase date.
  • Workmanship or material related defects of Carl Zeiss sports optics’ lens caps, plastic parts, rubber armoring, carrying straps, and accessories are warranted by 1-year warranty from original purchase date.

Warranty Disclaimers and Exclusions

Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty is applicable on Carl Zeiss products that are imported or purchased in the USA or Canada from authorized dealers of Carl Zeiss Optical. In case you’ve bought the Carl Zeiss product from an unauthorized dealer, the warranty will not be available to you.

A Carl Zeiss product will not be given warranty services in case of damages caused are of consequential, incidental, punitive, or special nature. In fact, your Carl Zeiss product will not be eligible for warranty if the damage is caused due to mishandling, accidental damage, neglect, misuse, or product alteration.

All the mentioned exclusions or limitations will not be applicable in states that don’t allow limitation/exclusion of damages that are consequential or incidental in nature. The Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty will be null and void if –

  • The damage is caused due to the use of accessories that are neither authorized nor sold by Carl Zeiss Optical / authorized dealer of Carl Zeiss Optical.
  • The damage is caused from
    • Natural Disasters (including fire, wildfire, storms, floods, lightning, or others)
    • Terrorism
    • Acts of war
    • Combat conditions (including but not limited to explosives, firearms, biological, chemical, or nuclear weapons

In the above mentioned conditions, providing the extending warranty service rests on sole discretion of Carl Zeiss. Obligation of Carl Zeiss in under the Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty is limited to either repairing or at best replacement of the product of equivalent quality or value in working condition. Resale of Product and Export Restrictions Export of Carl Zeiss product resold outside the USA will need the required export compliance. Carl Zeiss Optical Inc. doesn’t authorize the same.

  • ZEISS Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty

The defects (workmanship and material) of Zeiss products that are covered by the Zeiss Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty will be repaired or replaced at free of cost by Zeiss.

Per different region, this warranty is separated. To distinguish the different ZEISS Manufacturer Warranty, there are different stickers available. However, the warranty of a product will be entertained in that region only from where it was originally purchased.

Any workmanship and/or material related defect(s) will be repaired or replaced at free of cost. However, the discretion of providing the warranty service rests solely on discretion of Zeiss. Obligation of Carl Zeiss in under the Zeiss Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty is limited to either repairing or at best replacement of the product of equivalent quality or value in working condition.

When a Zeiss product is covered under Zeiss Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty, servicing of the lens can be done outside the region from where you originally purchased. However, in such a case, the repair service will be chargeable and not free of charge. You can’t transfer the warranty to the person you are selling the product to. The warranty is non-transferable.

Carl Zeiss product will not be eligible for warranty if the damage is caused due to mishandling, accidental damage, neglect, misuse, or product alteration.

  • The Zeiss Manufacturer 2-Year Warranty will be null and void if – The damage is caused due to the use of accessories that are neither authorized nor sold by Carl Zeiss Optical / authorized dealer of Carl Zeiss Optical.
