Nightforce ATACR 1-8X24 F1 Scope FC-DM FFP C597 is among the 3 new scopes introduced by Nightforce Optics in 2017-18. Nightforce has built it to provide hunters and close-range to medium-range shooters with the ultimate low-power variable riflescope. This high-zoom ratio riflescope comes with low-profile adjustment turrets, true 1x field of view (which is equivalent to iron sights), and first focal plane construction to provide users the ability for fast and precise target acquisition at close quarter as well as medium-ranges.

FC-DM Reticle

Nightforce ATACR 1-8X24 F1 Scope FC-DM FFP C597 comes with FC-DM reticle at First Focal Plane, providing precise hold and hold-off points. This reticle has been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of discriminating carbine shooters.

FC-DM reticle comes with a bright center dot as well as segmented circle surrounding the center. This arrangement helps in target acquisition in a fast and accurate manner. Clean 0.5 and 1 MRAD markings are present in the reticle, helping hunters and shooters get –

• Easy hold points for moving targets
• Reference marks
• Wind/Elevation hold-offs

Reference dot points are also available in the FC-DM reticle having spacing every 1 Mil down to
10 Mils. This arrangement allows for easy hold-offs as well as shot corrections.

In FFP scopes, when you change magnification of these scopes the reticle dimensions also seem to change proportionally. This feature helps the shooter to use the same windage corrections, holdovers, and range estimations irrespective of the magnification level you are using.
