We placed a target, similar to the size of a normal human, at a distance of 500 yards. Even the most amateur shooter among us was able to hit the target every time he fired. However, for point targets, this is not even the maximum effective range with M16/AR15 platform. We got consistent holdovers at 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, and 500 yards.
