Trijicon has introduced new 1-8×28 Variable Combat Optical Gunsight (VCOG), on the requests from the US military for an innovative aiming solution having extended magnification range, outstanding glass quality, and rugged design. This new, innovative sight incorporates a forged aluminum body, 8x zoom, and a First Focal Plane reticle, making it perfect for both competition and rough duty use.

For meeting the rigorous demands of duty (be it military, law enforcement, or competitive shooting), the new Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 Riflescope’s body has been forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum-alloy. The versatile magnification ranging from true 1x power to 8x makes it perfect for long-range applications as well as CQB (Close Quarter Battle). 

This nearly indestructible sighting system comes with a first focal plane reticle that allows users to estimate range rapidly and consequently applies the correct hold throughout the entire range of magnification. The reticles are available in both MOA and MRAD measurements. They feature an illuminated red segmented circle reticle with 120 MOA of total windage and elevation travel. 

The best part is that this new VCOG sight can be used with all rifle platforms and chamberings. A single AA lithium battery powers the illumination, which has 11 user-adjustable settings (including eight day-settings, two night-settings, and one super-bright setting). 

For maximizing light transmission, the new Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 Scope comes with lenses that are fully multi-coated with broadband anti-reflective coatings. The new Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 Riflescope comes with same reticle design but with differing measurements: MOA and MRAD. The LED reticles come with 11 user-selectable brightness settings where two are night-vision setting and nine are day settings (including one super-bright setting for use in extremely bright daylight condition).
