What are the Intelligent Features present in this Scope

Nightforce BEAST ScopesThis Nightforce scope comes with i4F intelligent elevation control feature. There are four elevation adjustment functions available here and they are markedly fast primary elevation control of .2 Mil-Radian or .50 MOA increments, 360-degree brake control (securing elevation adjustment is possible instantly), ZeroStop system (a patented feature of Nightforce Optics), and additional elevation adjustments of .1 Mil-Radian or .25 MOA increments.

What is so special about Nightforce DigIllum

The special Nightforce BEAST comes with digital illuminated reticle technology called Nightforce DigIllum that ushers in new repeatability and convenience standards.  It comes with two important features – auto-off and low battery indicator. The DigIllum technology helps user take a shot quickly by turning on the illumination as the default setting of the shooter gets chosen instantly.

A shooter or hunter needs to select the right illumination setting, whether it is for extremely bright or dim light condition. Once the preferred setting is done, shooters can turn the illumination off for preserving power of the battery. As BEAST comes with Nightforce DigIllum technology, users will get default illumination setting instantly when they turn on the illumination again. This is why instant shots can be taken with ease with this riflescope!

What’s XtremeSpeed at Nightforce BEAST

Elevation turret at this Nightforce scope is called XtremeSpeed, which helps in quick elevation in shortest possible time as well as travel. MRAD adjustments are present in this riflescope where every primary click provides 20 Mils and 0.2 MRAD of adjustment per revolution. Most importantly, the clicks are distinct and surely one of the best available in the Nightforce riflescopes. Unlike most scopes, the clicks are spaced adequately and a user can check the setting at fleet of a glance. It needs to be mentioned here that the turret numbering is clearly visible but that doesn’t come in the way of the aesthetics.

How good is the Light Transmission of this scope

Users of Nightforce BEAST get more than 90 per cent light transmission, which is achieved by only a handful of best quality riflescopes. If you are looking for 100 percent light transmission, it is still now a myth. With over 90 per cent light transmission, precise shot can be taken by shooters with the use of this line of Nightforce scopes.

In what kind of Tactical Environment can this Scope be used

Nightforce B.E.A.S.T. can be used in all kinds of tactical environment. Military personnel or servicemen can use this scope with their rifles in different tactical environments such as urban environment, firefight in a crowded location, small target located at extreme distance, or anything else. Shooters will get multi-scope capability in a single 5-25×56 Nightforce BEAST riflescope.

Is there any Difference in Zero Stop Adjustment of BEAST from that of NXS

There is indeed a procedural difference in setting Zero Stop at Nightforce BEAST from that of Nightforce NXS riflescope. Shooters are recommended to check the instruction manual before making ZeroStop adjustment at this scope. It can be said that the procedure is easy and straightforward.

Is there Parallax Control in this Scope

Yes, parallax control feature is available at Nightforce BEAST. It comprises multiple hash markings and infinity symbol. However, estimated yardage markings are missing.

What about Elevation Brake Control

Elevation Brake Control, which locks the turret, can be set at whatever setting one wants and then can be easily disengaged. A shooter simply has to push the small knob down and then rotate clockwise for setting the brake. To check whether the brake control is working fine, you should see whether the red line between brake control knob and main turret is visible. The small knob will rise by 1/8-inch. For disengaging the brake, you simply have to push down the knob and then rotate in counter-clock motion. The process is quite easy.

We hope the compilation of questions and answers in both the parts helps satiate your queries on Nightforce BEAST and assists you in finding the right riflescope for your shooting purpose. Stay tuned!
